HEAVY PSYCH - NEGATIVE SPACE - The Living Dead Years (1970) - 2000

Pérola vinda do Estados Unidos! O Negative Space foi formado no fim da década de 60 em Nova Jérsei e teve vida curta, lançou apenas um disco em 1970 chamado Hard, Heavy Mean & Evil, que teve apenas 500 cópias. Mas o que posto aqui é uma Coletânea que foi lançada em 2000 com as 8 faixas do álbum de 70 (remasterizadas) e mais 10 bônus, que são compostas de covers e outras gravações da banda.
As 8 faixas trazem um rock psicodélico da pesada (heavy psych), com pitadas de blues e uma pegada bem "garageira" e amadora. Muito influenciado pelos grupos do mesmo estilo do país nos anos 60, isso fica claro nas faixas bônus, que trazem músicas de artistas como Doors e Hendrix. Guitarra pesada e distorcida, com ótimos solos marcam o álbum, os vocais de Rob Russen também são bons.
75 minutos de ótimo hard rock psicodélico. Recomendado!

Short-lived pearl coming of the United States. The Negative Space was formed in the late 60s in New Jersey, just released an album in 1970 called Hard Heavy, Mean & Evil, which had only 500 copies. But what I post here is a Collection that was launched in 2000 with the 8 tracks on the album of 1970 (remastered) and 10 bonuses, which are composed of covers and other recordings of the band.
The 8 tracks bring a heavy psychedelic rock, with touch of blues and with garage rock climate. Much influenced by the groups of the same style of the country in the 60s, it is clear the bonus tracks, bringing songs from artists like The Doors and Hendrix. Heavy and distorted guitar, with great solos marks the album. Rob Russen's vocals are also good.
75 minutes of great hard rock psychedelic. Recommended!
