BLUES ROCK - PENTAGON - Die Vertreibung der bösen Geister aus dem Pentagon - 1970

Pérola vinda de Munique, na Alemanha. O trio surgiu no final dos anos 60 como os nomes de Carnabies e Wild City Brothers, até finalmente se chamar Pentagon, quando lançou um único e raríssimo LP em 1970, relançado apenas em 1999 pela Garden of Delights. Sem sucesso, logo se desfizeram e o guitarrista Hans-Peter Krohn formou o duo Krohn & Micus, novamente sem conseguir êxito.
O álbum Die Vertreibung der bösen Geister aus dem Pentagon (em português, "A expulsão de espíritos malignos do Pentágono") de 1970 traz apenas 7 faixas que misturam blues rock com pegada "garageira" e cru, variando entre o hard rock e momentos mais acústicos de folk e Krautrock/ prog (principalmente na faixa "A Sad Song"). A música é na maioria do tempo instrumental e os músicos executam um blues respeitável, com bom trabalho de guitarra e bateria, baixo pulsante e ainda algumas passagens de flauta, as letras são em inglês. Destaque para "Lazy Blues", "A Sad Song", "Bavarian Theme" e "Bohrer".

Pearl coming of Munich, Germany. The trio emerged in the late 60s as the names of Carnabies and Wild City Brothers, until finally name Pentagon when they launched a unique and rare LP in 1970, reissued in 1999 by the Garden of Delights. 
The album "Die Vertreibung Bösen Geister der aus dem Pentagon", of 1970 brings only 7 tracks that mix blues rock with garage and raw footprint, ranging from hard rock moments and other more acoustic folk and Krautrock / prog (especially on the track "The Sad Song"). The music is mostly instrumental and musicians perform a respectable blues with good work in guitar and drums, pulsating bass and even some passages of flute, the lyrics are in English. Highlight for "Lazy Blues", "The Sad Song", "Bavarian Theme" and "Bohrer".
