PROG ROCK - ORANGE POWER - Same - 1977

Pérola vinda da Áustria, o grupo Orange Power (também conhecido como Gino Pertot & Orange Power) foi ativo durante pouco tempo na capital Viena, onde gravaram e lançaram um único LP em 1977 e ainda outros dois compactos. Infelizmente, sem sucesso, o grupo logo se desfez e ainda espera um relançamento.
O disco homônimo é composto de 8 faixas na maioria de rock progressivo, mesclado em vários momentos com folk, rock clássico e influências comerciais. Encontram seus melhores momentos nas músicas longas ("It's All Love" e "Sunlight Soldiers") e instrumentais, com ótimas passagens de sintetizador e piano de Peter Janda e guitarra, que aparece com menor intensidade. As letras são todas em inglês e com certo sotaque.
Apesar de um pouco irregular, essa pérola ainda pode agradar fãs de rock progressivo.

Pearl coming from Austria, the group Orange Power (also known as Gino Pertot & Orange Power) was active for a short time in the capital Vienna, where they recorded and released a single LP in 1977 and two others singles. Unfortunately, without success, the group soon disbanded. 
The eponymous album consists of 8 tracks mostly progressive rock, mixed at various moments with folk, classic rock and commercial influences. Find its best moments on long songs ("It's All Love" and "Sunlight Soldiers") and instrumental part, with great passages of synthesizer and piano by Peter Janda and guitar, which appears with lower intensity. The lyrics are all in English. 
Although a bit uneven, this record can still please fans of progressive rock.
