PSYCHEDELIC ROCK - KISSING SPELL - Los Pájaros - 1970

Kissing Spell foi uma pérola vinda do Chile que lançou um álbum com este nome, em 1970, e outro em 1972 com o nome de Embrujo. A banda se formou na capital Santiago originalmente como trio, contando com Carlos Fernandez, Tato Gómez e Kiko Murillo, adicionando mais dois membros para a gravação de seus LPs, até acabar em 1973 com o Golpe de Estado no país.
O álbum Los Pájaros traz um bom rock psicodélico, muito influenciado por bandas americanas e inglesas, lembrando de longe o som do The Doors. A guitarra distorcida, o órgão e teclados são pontos fortes do disco, o vocal de Fernández também agrada bastante. As letras são em espanhol e inglês.

Kissing Spell was a pearl coming from Chile who released an album under this name in 1970 and another in 1972 with the name of Embrujo. The band was formed in the capital Santiago originally as a trio, adding two more members to record their LPs, ended in 1973 with the coup d'etat in the country.
The album Los Pdjaros brings a good psychedelic rock, heavily influenced by American and British bands, remembering a little The Doors. The distorted guitar, organ and keyboards are the strengths of the album, the vocals Fernández also quite pleasing. The lyrics are in English and Spanish.
