O grupo Atmosphere foi formado na capital de Luxemburgo no final da década de 70 pelo conhecido trompetista luxemburguês Gast Waltzing. Lançaram apenas um álbum em 1980, a banda acabou pouco tempo depois disso e alguns membros continuaram na música.
O debut intitulado Jazz Rock é composto por apenas 5 canções instrumentais com base no jazz, fortemente influenciado por rock e funk (jazz fusion). Instrumental bem trabalhado e com músicos de qualidade marcam o som do grupo, com ótimas combinação entre instrumentos de sopro, como saxofone, trompete e flauta e também teclados e piano elétrico. Momentos mais melódicos e outros jams mais agitados variam nos pouco mais de 30 minutos do disco.
No geral, um belo som, com rico instrumental. Pérola recomendada para apreciadores de jazz rock e fusion.

The group Atmosphere was formed in the capital of Luxembourg in the late 70's by renowned trumpeter Gast Waltzing. They released only one album in 1980, the band broke up shortly after that and some members continued in music.
The debut titled Jazz Rock is composed of only 5 instrumental songs based on jazz, heavily influenced by rock and funk (jazz fusion). Cohesive and well-crafted with instrumental with quality musicians mark the quintet's sound, with great combination of wind instruments such as saxophone, trumpet and flute and also keyboards and electric piano. Times more melodic and more agitated jams vary in just over 30 minutes into the disc.
Overall, a beautiful sound with rich instrumental. Pearl recommended for lovers of jazz and rock fusion.
