Comentário: Músico chileno nascido na capital Santiago em 1932 e que desde o fim dos anos 50 destacou-se como representante de canções folclóricas do país. Faleceu em 1975 devido a complicações cardíacas, tendo 4 discos em carreira solo, sendo o último, que posto aqui, produzido na França (devido ao exílio após o golpe de 1973). São 13 faixas curtas que, como indica o título, representam diversos tipos de cantos e danças tradicionais, transitando entre o folk andino, em termos de ritmos e instrumental e a nueva canción latinoamericana, pela lírica crítica. É basicamente acústico, com uso de violões, percussão, flauta e instrumentos típicos.

Chilean musician born in the capital Santiago in 1932 and that since the end of the 50s has distinguished himself as representative of folk songs of the country. He passed away in 1975 due to cardiac complications, releasing 4 solo career albums, being the last, that I post here, produced in France (due to the exile after the coup of 1973). There are 13 short tracks that, as the title indicates, represent different types of traditional songs and dances, transiting between the Andean folk, in terms of rhythms and instrumental and 'Nueva canción latinoamericana', by the critical lyrics. It is basically acoustic, with the use of acoustic guitars, percussion, flute and typical instruments.
A beautiful album for fans and those who want to know about South American folk and new song.
