HARD PROG - TATARAR - Gljúfurbarn / Fimmta boðorðið - 1970

Pérola vinda da Islândia, formada em 1968 por jovens da capital Reykjavík. A banda Tatarar lançou apenas dois compactos em 1969 e 70, se acabando precocemente pouco tempo depois. Anos mais tarde o guitarrista Gestur Guðnason integrou o grupo Eik e o baterista Magnús Magnússon se juntou ao Þokkabót.
Posto aqui o segundo e derradeiro single do quarteto, trazendo as curtas músicas "Gljúfurbarn" e "Fimmta boðorðið", tanto quanto inovadoras para a cena local na época. O som é hard prog variando momentos calmos e outros pesados com ótimo órgão e guitarra. As letras são todas na língua local. Interessante para fãs de hard prog setentista.

Pearl coming from Iceland, formed in 1968 by young people from the capital Reykjavík. The band Tatarar released only two singles in 1969 and 70, coming to an end early short time later. Years later guitarist Gestur Guðnason integrated Eik and the drummer Magnús Magnússon joined Þokkabót.
